SLUG Tire Insert - 1.55" Wheel

The SLUG is made of high quality TPU material that is durable, soft, flexible, and waterproof. The material is naturally temperature resistant, so the performance is reliable and consistent in both hot and cold climates.
Increased lifespan, maintaining original shape and composition compared to standard open and closed cell foams.

The SLUG is a direct replacement for R/C tire foams. No more flat tires, folding sidewall, or wet and smelly foams!

Improvements:

• Sidewall Support - to aid in side-hilling and limit rollovers
• Wider and Flatter tire contact patch - for more traction and tread engagement
• Significantly reduces lateral tire folding - tire folding is unpredictable and causes you to lose traction
• Easily conforms to rocks and terrains - soft and flexible gives ability to wrap around obstacles with ease.

Compounds:

• SOFT - ideal for lighter trucks looking to increase traction and performance. Work well in the front tire giving more steering control (7 lbs or less).
• MEDIUM - ideal for trucks that flatten stock foams, the smart brass users, and good for rear tires. Stiffer in all the right places while still conforming to terrain (7-10 lbs)
• FIRM - ideal for the 12+ lb trucks, the brass lovers, hardbodies. Flex is still there, but supports weight more, while still gripping the trails. (12 lbs or more)
